Where It Comes From

## Guadalajara-born. *Bilingual by choice.*

I grew up in Guadalajara, Jalisco — surrounded by haciendas, mariachi, and a Mexican sense of celebration that doesn't hold back. But I also grew up with a deep connection to American culture: your music, your traditions, the way you love.

That's not something I've learned from clients. It's who I am. When an American couple chooses Mexico for the most important day of their lives, I understand both sides of that decision — the beauty of it, and what it takes to make it work flawlessly.

Six years ago I photographed my first wedding. I haven't stopped smiling since. Not because I'm performing — because weddings are genuinely the best thing I do. Every first look still gets me. Every father-daughter dance. Every table of friends from college who haven't been in the same room in years.

I built Lemus Weddings to be the person I would want to hire if I were planning a wedding in another country: someone who knows the territory, speaks your language, and actually cares about the outcome.

Why Weddings

## The moments that only happen *once*

I could photograph architecture, travel, portraits. But weddings are the only place where the most human moments happen in one afternoon — compressed, unrepeatable, and gone forever if you miss them.

That's why I'm still here after six years. Not because I'm good at the logistics. Because I genuinely love what I walk into every Saturday.

The moment when everything they've been feeling for months arrives all at once. Three seconds that contain a year.

Except he did. They always do. And the photo of that exact moment is the one that goes on the wall — forever.

Not the choreography — the end of the choreography, when they stop caring about the steps and it becomes something real.

Old friends who haven't been in the same room in years. Laughing at something from a decade ago. I'll find them.
