Compare scope, not a headline price
Two proposals can list the same number of hours and tell a different story. Read the schedule from getting ready through the dance floor, then ask which team member covers each part.
The deliverables should be named
Ask for the gallery, film, ceremony or speech edits if offered, delivery format and estimated turnaround in writing. “Everything” is not a useful deliverable.
Video has one non-negotiable detail: audio
A beautiful ceremony without clear vows loses part of its meaning. Confirm who handles microphones, what can be recorded and whether the venue has access limits.
Use your actual timeline
Share your locations and rough schedule before booking. This makes it possible to see whether first look, family portraits, ceremony and celebration fit inside the coverage.
