Getting Married in Jalisco from the US

You live in the States; the family and the party are in Jalisco. Quique plans remotely and, on the day, talks with your family and the Mexican vendors.

Planning remotely

Plan from the US, without the stress

You don't need to fly in to move forward. The photo plan, family list and timeline come together by message and video call. After the party, your sneak peek arrives within 24 hours, before most guests fly home.

Bilingual for real

At a bi-national wedding, some relatives speak only Spanish and others only English. Quique speaks with both sides and with the vendors. Nothing gets lost in translation, and nobody is left out of the family portraits.

Paperwork, in general terms

Church, civil or symbolic?

For couples living abroad, the key question is which ceremony is legally binding. In Mexico, that is the civil marriage at the Civil Registry. This is general guidance, not legal advice. Confirm requirements with the registry and your state before you set a date.

CeremonyIn general
CivilThe legal act in Mexico. To use it in the US, couples are usually asked for the certificate with an apostille. Legal requirements
ChurchThe parish sets its own requirements and lead times. What to expect
SymbolicA ceremony with no legal effect on its own; many couples hold one in Jalisco and sign elsewhere. Is it binding?

How it works

Four steps, no surprises

  1. 01 Message Quique with your date and venue.
  2. 02 He confirms availability; you meet in person or by video call if you live abroad.
  3. 03 A signed agreement and deposit hold your date.
  4. 04 You settle the balance before the wedding and build the timeline together.

Guarantee: if a moment we agreed on together is missed, we make it right. Delivery dates are a commitment, not an estimate. Signature is the collection most couples book. If you want catalog-style posed photos, this isn't the house for you.

Good to know

Questions from couples living in the US

Is a church wedding in Jalisco legally valid back home?

In Mexico, the legal act is the civil marriage at the Civil Registry; a religious ceremony alone does not replace it. To have it recognized in the US, couples are usually asked for the certificate with an apostille. Requirements change: confirm them with the registry and your state before fixing a date.

How much does a Jalisco wedding photographer cost?

Collections start from $2,200 USD, with travel inside Mexico already included. The final number depends on hours, a second photographer and whether you add film. Quique quotes personally on WhatsApp or email, usually within 24 hours.

When do we see photos if guests fly home the next day?

A sneak peek arrives within 24 hours, often before many guests fly home. The full gallery is delivered on the date set for your collection. Delivery dates are a commitment, not an estimate.

What happens if a moment we agreed on is missed?

If a moment we agreed on together is missed, we make it right. Before the wedding you and Quique list the moments that must not be missed.

How do we hold our date?

A signed agreement and a deposit hold your date, and the balance is settled before the wedding. Message Quique with your date and venue and he confirms availability.

Tell Quique your date and city

Quique, the photographer himself, replies personally within 24 hours. He tells you if your date is free and which collection fits.
